Terms of service
Last updated September 2026.
The service
Rooster drafts and, with your approval or your configured auto-send rules, publishes content and messages on behalf of your business. You are responsible for reviewing what you approve and for the rules you turn on.
Your responsibilities
- You have the right to connect the accounts you connect and to share the data you share.
- You'll collect customer contact information and text-message consent lawfully, and you'll follow the rules of each platform we publish to.
- You won't use Rooster to send unlawful, deceptive or harassing messages, to post fake reviews, or to gate or incentivize reviews in ways platforms or the FTC prohibit. Rooster is built to prevent these, and you agree not to work around it.
Approval and auto-send
Nothing is published without your approval unless you enable auto-send for a task type. You can disable auto-send at any time. You're responsible for content published under rules you enabled.
Billing
Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance. Cancel any time from your account; monthly plans end at the period's close, yearly plans are refunded for whole unused months. Text messages beyond your plan's allowance are billed per message as listed on the pricing page.
Your data
You own your data. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. We don't train AI models on it.
Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change features with notice.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided as is. AI-generated drafts can be wrong; that's why approval exists. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
Termination
Either of us can end the agreement. We'll give you a way to export your data first.
