What does Rooster actually do?
Every night it reads what changed in your business (new reviews, closed jobs, bookings, your Google profile, your neighborhood) and drafts what needs doing: review replies, review requests, win-back texts, social and Google posts, profile fixes and local opportunities. Every morning you approve, edit or skip each one from your phone. Approved items go out. Your edits teach it.
Is it an app or a service?
An app, on your phone and on the web. There's no agency behind it drafting by hand, which is why it costs what it costs. There is a person behind support.
How is this different from Google's own AI replies, or from the marketing tab in my booking software?
Those wait for you to open them. Rooster shows up every morning with the work done across Google, Instagram, Facebook, texts and email at once, knows your whole business rather than one tool's data, and learns from your edits. It's the part that remembers.
Who is it for?
Owner-run local businesses: home services, auto repair, salons, restaurants, gyms and studios. If your customers come from the neighborhood, Google and word of mouth, it's for you.
Will it ever send something I didn't approve?
Not unless you turn on auto-send for a specific type of task, which you can only do after a track record of clean approvals on that type. One switch turns it all off.
What if it gets a fact wrong?
Every fact in a draft is checked against your verified records first. A price or hours that don't match are blocked before you see them. If something's still wrong, correct it once and it stays corrected everywhere.
Can someone else approve for me?
Yes. Add a manager or family member as an approver. You're copied on everything.
Can I stop it from doing certain things?
Yes. Hard rules like "never mention pricing," "never post on Sundays," or "never text this customer" are enforced by the software, not remembered by the model.
Do you train AI models on my data?
No. Your data is used to do your work and nothing else. See security.
Is texting customers legal?
With written consent, inside quiet hours, with an opt-out, yes. Rooster enforces all three in software. We still recommend you have a lawyer glance at your consent language.
What about review rules?
Rooster never gates reviews (asks only happy customers), never offers incentives tied to what a review says, and never writes reviews. Yelp is read-only because Yelp doesn't allow requests or third-party replies.
What accounts do I have to connect?
Google Business Profile is the one that matters most. Instagram and Facebook for posting. Your job, booking or POS tool for reminders and history. Each is optional and each unlocks more of the morning list.
What does it cost?
$79 or $99 a month for one location, $249 for up to three. Month to month. Details.
Is there a free trial?
14 days, no card. You'll see real drafts for your real business by the second morning.
How do I know it's working?
Your feed shows results a few days after each item: review count and rating over time, which posts got attention, which reminders got a yes. No vanity dashboard, just the numbers that matter for your kind of business.
