Win-back

Bring back the customers who already like you

A tune-up reminder to last year's install beats any ad you'll ever buy. Rooster knows who's due, who went quiet, and who never answered the quote.

Who gets a message, and when

Rooster reads your job history and books, then picks the handful of people worth a note this week.

  • Service-due reminders: annual tune-ups, filter changes, rebooking windows, membership renewals
  • Quote follow-ups for estimates that never got a yes or a no
  • Quiet-customer nudges after a gap that's long for your kind of business
  • Seasonal notes when weather or holidays make the timing obvious
Hi Dana, Ray from Ridgeline. It's been about a year since your water heater went in. Want a quick flush before winter? Reply YES for times, STOP to opt out.
YES, any weekday morning
Tuesday 9am works. You'll get a reminder the day before.
How it works

Consent first, then the message

Consent gets captured at the job

Rooster gives you a one-line checkbox for your invoice, booking page or checkout. No checkbox, no text. Email still works.

Rooster picks this week's list

Who's due, who went quiet, who has an open quote. Each name comes with the reason and the draft.

You approve, replies come to you

Messages send inside quiet hours, three a day max per customer, STOP always honored. Replies land in your feed or your phone.

Guardrails

Texting rules, built in

Texting laws changed in 2025 and the fines are real. Rooster treats every message as marketing and follows the strict version of the rules.

  • Written consent recorded before any text, tied to the customer's number
  • Sends only 8am to 8pm in the customer's local time, tighter than federal rules
  • STOP, QUIT, or anything like it stops every campaign for that customer instantly
  • Registered sender identity for your business, so carriers don't filter you as spam
Consent on fileJul 12, invoice #1182
Quiet hours 8pm–8am2 of 3 today
Dana replied STOP on Sep 3. Rooster removed her from every text list. Email still allowed.

Questions

Is this legal?

Yes when done right, which is why consent, quiet hours and opt-outs are enforced by the software rather than left to memory. Rooster follows the strict reading of federal and state texting law. We recommend you also confirm your own consent language with a lawyer.

What if I don't have customer phone numbers?

Rooster starts with email and with the numbers you collect going forward. Most businesses build a usable list within a couple of months.

Does it work with my booking or job software?

Rooster reads job history from tools like Jobber, Housecall Pro, Square and Booksy where the integration exists, and from a spreadsheet export where it doesn't.
